Track AutoCAD printing
Select your AutoCAD pc3 driver from the plotter list and click the "Properties" button.
Select the "Custom Properties" option and click the "Custom Properties" button.

Check the "Prompt at plot time" option and save your pc3 changes.

Now the "Custom Properties" dialog box (above) will display every time you plot to your Kip.pc3 driver. This will allow you to fill in your Requester, Job Number, and Description fields before every print job. This information will then be recorded in your Kip device log files.
Track Windows Driver printing
Select "Properties" from your application (Adobe Acrobat) print window.

In the "Management" section you can change the Requester, Distribution (Job Number), and Description fields. This information will then be recorded in your Kip device log files.

On Kip 3000 and Kip 5000 you can require the population of these fields. The Kip Windows Driver Version 1.154 must be used. Accounting fields and requirement criteria must be uploaded into the controller via Kip Request. The box below will pop up at print time.
Track Kip Request printing
In Kip Request simply fill in the Requester, Job Number, and Description before Submitting your print job. This information will then be recorded in your Kip device log files.
